Zong CMPak Ltd, partnered with Dawn Media Group for the ‘Breathe Pakistan International Climate Change Conference,’ held on February 6-7, 2025, at the Islamabad #Convention Centre. The event brought together #government bodies, corporate leaders, and #experts to discuss strategies for a #sustainable, climate-resilient #Pakistan.
With over 15 sessions and 90 speakers from 11 countries, the #conference featured the ‘Roundtable Symposium: Igniting a Dialogue Between Government & Corporate Sector on A New #Blueprint for Climate Resilience in Pakistan,’ chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and the Minister for Foreign Affairs. Corporate #leaders, including Zong 4G’s Head of Strategy, Communication & Sustainability, Nabila Yazdani, participated.
Zong 4G is advancing #sustainability by solarizing 1,000+ cell sites and using lithium-ion batteries at over 12,000 sites to reduce its #carbon footprint. It also operates an energy-efficient Rated-3 certified data center. The company played a key role in disaster relief, restoring #connectivity during recent floods and organizing 30+ medical camps with 13,000+ free consultations.
