Pakistan made a strong statement at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025, showcasing its growing digital prowess and ambition to attract global investment in fintech innovation.
Pakistan’s fintech ambitions took centre stage at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2025 as Deputy High Commissioner and Charge d’Affaires Salman Mehmood inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion on Wednesday. The move marks Pakistan’s growing presence in the global financial technology landscape.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mehmood praised the participation of Pakistani fintech companies, urging them to make the most of this “global crossroads of innovation.” He encouraged the delegation to forge partnerships, attract foreign investment, and spotlight Pakistan’s dynamic tech potential.
A contingent of six leading Pakistani fintech firms is representing the country this year, underscoring its emergence as a serious contender in the digital finance space. Their participation aligns with Pakistan’s broader strategy to deepen engagement with Singapore’s thriving fintech ecosystem and expand its role in the global digital economy.
Running from November 12 to 14, the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 hosts more than 600 exhibitors and 41 national pavilions, bringing together top innovators, investors, regulators, and policymakers. Pakistan’s presence this year signals not just participation—but aspiration—as it looks to position itself among the next generation of fintech frontrunners.
