Mobilink Bank, Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, has joined hands with HBL Zarai Services Limited to advance agricultural financing for underserved communities under the ‘Zarkhez-e’ Asaan Digital Zarai Qarza Scheme. The partnership will provide structured, in-kind financing linked directly to essential agricultural inputs and services, ensuring that credit is used productively to improve farm-level outcomes. Farmers will benefit from access to high-quality inputs, agronomic advisory, mechanization services, and structured crop offtake solutions, creating a closed-loop model that enhances transparency and efficiency.
Harris Mahmood Chaudhary, President and CEO of Mobilink Bank, stated, “Mobilink Bank remains committed to expanding access to finance in a way that is both practical and meaningful. By linking credit with inputs, advisory, and market access, we ensure financing improves outcomes and supports resilient livelihoods.”
Amer Aziz, CEO of HBL Zarai Services, added, “This partnership is a significant step toward strengthening structured agricultural financing. By combining financial access with on-ground services, we ensure financing translates into real productivity, improved yields, and better market outcomes.”
Together, the institutions aim to scale agricultural financing, supporting national priorities for sustainable agriculture, financial inclusion, and inclusive economic growth.
