The Bank of Khyber (BoK) has launched its Point-of-Sale (POS) acquiring services in partnership with Kuickpay, taking a major step forward in its digital transformation journey. The launch ceremony was attended by BoK’s Managing Director and CEO, Hassan Raza, along with KuickPay’s Managing Director, Arbab Ali Khan. This collaboration will allow BoK to provide POS solutions to its merchant network, expanding the bank’s range of services and strengthening its role in Pakistan’s growing digital payments ecosystem.
With the introduction of POS services, merchants and customers will now be able to carry out secure and seamless digital transactions, reducing the dependency on cash and making payments more convenient. The initiative is closely aligned with national efforts to promote financial digitization and directly supports the “Cashless Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Initiative.” For BoK, it also presents an opportunity to grow its deposit base, diversify revenue streams through fee-based income, and extend its market presence.
This partnership positions BoK as a forward-thinking, technology-driven institution committed to driving financial inclusion and advancing the future of digital banking in Pakistan. By expanding POS offerings, the bank not only strengthens its payments infrastructure but also enhances service delivery for merchants and customers alike, reflecting its vision of modern, accessible, and inclusive financial services.
