Telenor Pakistan has formed a strategic partnership with Data Vault Pakistan to introduce the country’s first AI-Ready Sovereign Cloud, marking a major milestone in Pakistan’s digital and artificial intelligence ecosystem.
The locally hosted platform offers enterprises secure access to GPU-accelerated computing and AI infrastructure designed to meet data sovereignty and regulatory requirements. According to the companies, the initiative aims to remove key barriers that have slowed AI adoption by combining high-performance computing with a compliance-ready, in-country environment.
The cloud is now open for enterprise onboarding and is expected to support AI-driven innovation across multiple sectors, including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, public safety, and government services. Beyond infrastructure, Telenor and Data Vault plan to jointly develop industry-focused AI solutions, with early emphasis on fintech, health technologies, telecom automation, agri-tech, and smart governance.
As Pakistan’s digital backbone continues to expand, the partnership positions itself as a catalyst for scalable and secure AI deployment nationwide. By keeping sensitive data within national borders while enabling advanced computing capabilities, the initiative aims to make enterprise-grade AI both accessible and trustworthy.
The companies say the collaboration reflects a broader push to future-proof Pakistan’s digital economy and empower businesses to compete in an increasingly AI-driven global landscape.
