Samba Bank Limited officially launched the facility at its Jinnah Avenue Branch in Islamabad. The inauguration was attended by senior officials including Jamil Qureshi, Secretary of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, Mohammed Al Sales Ali, Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Dr Omar Jahangir, Joint Secretary SIFC, and Abdullah Soliman Aldoikh from the Saudi Embassy. The event was hosted by Rashid Jahangir, Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of Samba Bank, along with the bank’s senior leadership.
The Kingdom Connect has been developed as a one window business facilitation platform offering meeting spaces, conferencing facilities, structured business to business matchmaking and coordinated engagement with government and regulatory bodies. Bank officials said the centre would “enable smoother business interaction” and help strengthen investor confidence between the two countries.
The launch also reflects Samba Bank’s broader branch expansion strategy across Pakistan. Officials noted that the initiative supports the bank’s role in promoting cross border investment, facilitating commercial partnerships and strengthening economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
