Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in London after completing his week-long visit to the United States, where he led Pakistan’s delegation at the 80th United Nations General Assembly session. During the visit, he held a formal meeting with US President Donald Trump at the Oval Office, where the two discussed regional security, counterterrorism, and cooperation in technology and agriculture.
Speaking to the media in New Jersey, the prime minister described his talks with President Trump as “very encouraging.” He noted Washington’s willingness to share expertise in artificial intelligence, information technology, and agriculture, while also showing interest in investment opportunities in Pakistan.
At the airport, the prime minister, along with the foreign minister and senior officials, was seen off by ambassadors from the United States and the United Nations before his departure to London. The visit reflects Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen relations and expand cooperation with global partners.
