Muhammad Atif, Consul at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai, led a trade delegation to the 5th International Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation, Refrigeration and Cold Chain Expo (RACC 2025) held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China.
The four-member Pakistani team explored advanced industrial technologies, focusing on sourcing air conditioning systems, heating products, accessories, and compressors from global suppliers. According to Gwadar Pro, Consul Atif joined other dignitaries in inaugurating the event by taking part in the traditional button-press ceremony, marking the official opening of the expo.
He noted that Pakistan’s participation reflects its growing commitment to deepening trade and industrial cooperation with China. The delegation aimed to identify innovative cooling technologies and strengthen partnerships with Chinese manufacturers to support Pakistan’s infrastructure, climate control, and cold chain development goals.
The initiative aligns with broader industrial collaboration efforts under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework.
The RACC 2025 expo highlighted the global shift toward green and smart technologies in the refrigeration and cold chain sectors. Featuring 607 exhibitors from over 100 countries, the event spanned 50,000 square meters and attracted more than 41,000 visitors — including 2,507 international buyers across five continents.
