NETSOL Technologies Pakistan, a leading Pakistani software firm, announced a landmark Rs500 million agreement with the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to launch the next phase of its Paperless Government Project. The deal, disclosed in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange – PSX, is backed by The World Bank funding.
Building on the project’s initial success—digitizing cabinet workflows and summaries to the chief minister—the new phase will expand automation and enable secure inter-agency integration. “This milestone moves digital governance from promise to practice,” said NetSol CEO Salim Ghauri. “Faster service delivery, fewer manual touch points and clear, auditable decision trails across government.”
Ghauri emphasized the company’s commitment to public sector innovation, adding, “We are proud to partner with the provincial government to make the government processes more transparent, accountable and efficient.”
The agreement follows NetSol’s recent AI training partnership with NAVTTC and its leadership role in operating the National Incubation Centre Lahore.
