
Easypaisa Digital Bank processed over PKR 15 trillion across 3.8 billion transactions in 2025, marking its first year of operations. The bank also partnered with Ant International to expand global payment and remittance services.

easypaisa digital bank has processed more than 3.8 billion transactions worth over PKR 15 trillion on 2025, marking a major milestone as it completed the first anniversary of digital banking operations. The achievement was announced at the bank’s Annual Stakeholder Dinner at Karachi, attended by government officials, regulators, industry leaders, partners, and members of the Easypaisa Board.
The event also marked easypaisa’s expansion into global payments through a new partnership with Ant International’s WorldFirst platform. Under the collaboration, Easypaisa customers will be able to receive cross-border payments and remittances from 100 countries in more than 100 currencies, directly into their accounts. The initiative is expected to benefit freelancers, exporters, and overseas Pakistanis by expanding access beyond traditional remittance corridors.
The dinner was hosted by Chairman Irfan Wahab Khan, Board Director and President Ant International Douglas Feagin, and President and CEO Jahanzeb Khan. Federal Minister Shaza Khawaja, attending as Chief Guest, congratulated Easypaisa in its first anniversary as a digital bank and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing Pakistan’s digital economy. She highlighted strong growth in IT exports and announced plans to launch 5G services next year.
With one in five Pakistani’s using the platform and a 31 percent female user base, Easypaisa continues to strengthen financial inclusion and digital connectivity nationwide.
