Pakistani financial technology firm ABHI has joined forces with Saudi-based technology company Squadio to introduce a digital solution that allows employees to access part of their earned income before the scheduled payroll date.
The agreement will enable Squadio’s workforce to use earned wage access services, giving employees the option to receive a portion of their salary during the month instead of waiting for the regular payment cycle. The initiative is intended to improve financial flexibility and help workers handle everyday expenses more conveniently.
Established in Pakistan in 2021, ABHI provides digital financial services that allow employees to unlock their accumulated wages through employer-linked platforms. The fintech company has expanded its operations across regional markets by offering tools designed to improve short-term financial access for workers.
Under the new collaboration, Squadio employees will be able to request early access to their available earnings whenever required. Both companies said the service is expected to support employee financial planning while contributing to a more adaptable and technology-driven workplace environment.
ABHI Chief Executive Officer Omair Ansari said solutions such as earned wage access can strengthen employees’ financial independence and help businesses create more supportive work cultures.
“Earned Wage Access empowers employees with greater financial control while enabling employers to promote a more engaged, productive, and financially resilient workforce,” Ansari said.
He added that the partnership with Squadio reflects a mutual goal of applying technology to improve employee experiences and introduce more modern workplace benefits.
Squadio CEO Abdulrahman Alzeaagi said the company views the partnership as part of its broader effort to provide advanced tools and benefits for technology professionals.
“We believe that empowering tech teams with smart tools and modern benefits is the foundation for building more efficient and sustainable workplaces,” Alzeaagi said.
ABHI currently operates across Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman, providing businesses and employees with access to digital financial solutions. The company reports serving over one million users and working with more than 7,000 corporate partners.
The partnership represents the growing role of fintech solutions in reshaping employee benefits by combining digital innovation with improved financial accessibility for workers.
