ABHI partners with Red Sea International to offer Saudi employees real-time access to earned wages before payday, expanding its Kingdom footprint.
Pakistan-founded fintech ABHI has partnered with Saudi-listed construction and facilities company Red Sea International to provide employees with early access to wages they have already earned. The agreement expands ABHI’s earned-wage-access business in Saudi Arabia, where it has been building partnerships with employers since entering the market in 2024.
Under the arrangement, Red Sea International employees can access a portion of their accrued salaries in real time before their regular payday. ABHI’s Earned Wage Access (EWA) platform is designed to give employees earlier access to earned income while allowing employers to integrate the service into their workforce benefits.
ABHI co-founder and CEO Omair Ansari said the partnership reflects the company’s approach to giving workers more flexibility over when they access their income. “Financial wellbeing starts with having access to your income when you need it,” Ansari said, adding that employees should not have to wait for a fixed payday to access money they have already earned.
Red Sea International provides modular buildings, workforce accommodation and related services, including for industries operating in remote locations. Its partnership with ABHI adds another employer to the fintech’s growing Saudi EWA network, which includes businesses such as Alruqee Group, QBS, Squadio and Syarah.
The agreement comes as ABHI continues expanding its Saudi operations. The company entered the Kingdom in 2024 through a partnership with Alraedah Digital Solutions, while subsequent agreements have broadened its employer network and the reach of its wage-access platform.
ABHI has also expanded beyond EWA into payroll and financing products. Its latest corporate statement says the company now operates across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman, serving more than two million users and partnering with more than 25,000 businesses.
The expansion comes as Saudi Arabia develops its fintech sector under Vision 2030, with digital financial services forming part of efforts to diversify the Kingdom’s economy. ABHI’s latest partnership places earned-wage access within that broader push toward technology-enabled financial services.
