JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading digital wallet, has partnered with EFU Life Assurance Ltd. to launch the country’s first fully digital insurance service. This initiative is designed to simplify the insurance process from start to finish, enabling customers to subscribe instantly through digital platforms such as the Jazz-Cash app, web portal, call center, or even WhatsApp. The partnership aims to make the entire experience seamless by offering quick onboarding, efficient servicing, and hassle-free claims processing.
The service operates through an omni-channel model, giving customers multiple options to engage in a smooth and consistent manner. Beyond basic coverage, it provides added benefits such as wellness features, health support, and the ability to track claims in real time. By offering affordable and accessible plans, the collaboration seeks to broaden the reach of insurance in Pakistan, catering to the evolving needs of both urban and remote populations.
At the launch, Jazz-Cash President Murtaza Ali noted that Pakistan’s insurance penetration remains very low at just 0.87%, highlighting a large gap in accessibility. EFU Life CEO Mohammed Ali Ahmed emphasized that combining Jazz-Cash’s digital ecosystem of more than 20 million active users with EFU Life’s expertise in insurance solutions will deliver a fast, customer-centric, and reliable service. Together, the two companies hope to drive greater awareness and adoption of insurance by making it digital-first, inclusive, and easy to access for all segments of society.
