Shaza Khawaja, Federal Minister for IT and Telecom, emphasized 5G’s role in advancing Pakistan’s digital ambitions. Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary, Federal Minister for #Planning, Development & #Special Initiatives, highlighted its importance for long-term economic progress.
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, Malaysia’s High Commissioner, Ambassador Dato’ Aminahtun Karim, Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, spoke about international partnerships and workforce development in #5G. PTA Chairman Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman reaffirmed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s commitment to bridging the digital divide. Nokia’s Senior Vice President for the Middle East and Africa, Mikko Lavanti, stated that 5G is a key driver of economic growth.
