Neem and Meezan Bank Launch Shariah Finance Ecosystem

Neem, one of the leading embedded-finance platforms in Pakistan, has entered into an agreement with Meezan Bank Limited , the country’s leading Islamic bank. The two entities have entered into this collaboration to co-create a better embedded finance ecosystem focused on services delivered from within Pakistan.

Neem and Meezan Bank, together, will create a Shariah-compliant payments infrastructure that supports a full range of financial services. The solution includes payment gateways, SoftPOS solutions, direct debit, co-branded card issuing, and other embedded finance solutions. The services are designed to simplify transactions on a day-to-day basis and support changing digital needs of businesses in multiple industries.

This collaboration is a significant milestone in the development of fintech in Pakistan as it deepens the underlying digital payment infrastructure for local businesses and speeds up innovation.
