Standard Chartered Pakistan has launched the 7th cohort of its flagship Future makers Women in Tech Accelerator, reaffirming its commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs in the technology sector. This initiative, in collaboration with INNOVentures Global Private Limited, aims to bridge the gender gap in Pakistan’s tech industry by providing women-led startups with essential resources and support.
Launched in 2019, Standard Chartered Women in Tech Accelerator in Pakistan addresses gender disparity in tech by supporting women-led startups with mentorship and funding. As part of the global Future makers initiative, it promotes economic inclusion. With the launch of Cohort 7, CEO Rehan Shaikh reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs. Over six years, the program has attracted 1,900+ applicants, graduated 143 founders, and provided seed funding to 43 ventures.
