PTCL.Official, the country’s largest #ICT services provider, has partnered with PayFast, a State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) licensed Payment Service Provider, to introduce Pakistan’s first bill payment solution through WhatsApp. This innovative service allows PTCL customers to view and pay their bills directly in the app, setting a new milestone for the #telecom sector in digital services.

The official launch event took place at PTCL Headquarters in Islamabad, with senior representatives from PTCL, PayFast, and eocean present. eOcean, a leading #cloud communication provider, powers the service, enabling seamless integration with PTCL’s systems. Customers can pay bills by entering their CNIC and account numbers, confirming the payment through a #OTP sent to their registered mobile numbers, and receiving instant receipts within the #WhatsApp chat.

This WhatsApp bot also enhances customer experience by offering features like service issue #troubleshooting, bill inquiries, tax certificate retrieval, and subscribing to #FlashFiber services.

Syed Atif Raza, Group Chief Commercial Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, highlighted the collaboration as part of PTCL’s #digital transformation efforts, aimed at improving convenience for customers. The initiative is a significant step towards advancing Digital Pakistan.
