The Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait, in collaboration with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), hosted a technology conference on September 29 and 30 at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The event brought together innovators, business leaders, and officials from both countries to explore new opportunities in digital trade and cooperation.

Pakistan’s Ambassador Dr. Zafar Iqbal said ties between Pakistan and Kuwait are entering a new phase with collaboration in technology and digital services. He urged companies to use this opportunity to work together for solutions that benefit the region.

Panel discussions and bilateral meetings covered topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, smart cities, digital commerce, and financial technologies. Dr. Khaled Al-Zamel, Chairman of Kuwait’s Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority, emphasized Kuwait’s commitment to IT growth and knowledge exchange with Pakistan.

Dr. Hajar Al-Hadawi of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) underlined the importance of job creation and investment. She also introduced the AI-REAL Toolkit, designed to provide a roadmap for practical technology adoption. The conference showcased Kuwait’s Vision 2035 alongside Pakistan’s technology strengths, opening new avenues of cooperation.
