Nishat Group and LUXEED sign a strategic MoU to introduce premium new energy vehicles in Pakistan, expanding technology-driven and eco-friendly mobility options.
Pakistan’s premium automotive market could be heading towards a more technology-driven future as Nishat Group joins hands with China’s LUXEED to introduce its new energy vehicles in the country. The strategic cooperation agreement, signed in Wuhu, China, signals the group’s growing interest in advanced mobility solutions as electric and intelligent vehicles gain attention globally.
The partnership brings together Nishat Group’s local market presence and LUXEED’s technology-focused automotive approach. Beyond introducing new vehicles, the collaboration aims to develop a broader mobility ecosystem in Pakistan, with an emphasis on innovation, customer experience and after-sales services.
Nishat Group has already expanded its automotive footprint through NexGen Auto, which introduced OMODA and JAECOO in Pakistan in August 2025. Backed by a reported $100 million investment and local assembly operations in Faisalabad, the brands recorded more than 15,000 customer deliveries during their first year, according to the announcement. The group subsequently introduced iCAUR in collaboration with Chery Group, unveiling the brand at PAPS 2026.
LUXEED marks another step in this expansion, targeting the premium new energy vehicle segment with a combination of intelligent technology, comfort and driving performance. Established through a partnership between Chery and Huawei, LUXEED operates under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA). Chery oversees vehicle manufacturing and engineering, while Huawei contributes its HarmonyOS smart cockpit, Qiankun advanced driver-assistance system and digital driving technologies. The brand’s philosophy centres on Intelligence, Luxury and Driving Pleasure, captured in its slogan, “I DRIVE, YOU ENJOY.”
At its global brand launch in Wuhu on October 21, LUXEED showcased its vision for intelligent mobility, highlighting safety, comfort and technology designed around drivers’ needs. The brand also draws on Chery Group’s international manufacturing and research capabilities. Chery has ranked first in China’s passenger-vehicle exports for 23 consecutive years and recorded cumulative global sales exceeding 20 million units.
For Pakistani consumers, the partnership could introduce more options in the premium electric and new energy vehicle market. However, key details, including the models coming to Pakistan, pricing, specifications and launch dates, remain undisclosed. Nishat Group is expected to share further updates as the partnership progresses.
