Mashreq launches NEO BIZ in Pakistan, offering SMEs, sole proprietors and self-employed professionals digital account opening, payments and financial services through an integrated platform.
Mashreq has introduced NEO BIZ in Pakistan, a digital banking service aimed at SMEs, sole proprietors and self-employed professionals.
The new offering allows entrepreneurs to establish business accounts remotely through Mashreq’s mobile application. The entire process can be completed in around 10 minutes, removing the need to visit a bank branch or office.
NEO BIZ is designed to give business owners faster access to essential banking facilities through a digital account-opening process. By moving account registration to the mobile platform, Mashreq aims to make routine banking more accessible and reduce the time required to begin using business banking services.
Customers who open accounts through NEO BIZ will receive several banking services at no additional cost. These include a cheque book, fund transfers, bill payment facilities and a debit card.
Account holders will also be exempt from ATM transaction charges. The digital banking proposition carries a daily transfer ceiling of Rs30 million, allowing businesses to conduct transactions within the specified limit.
The launch is focused on meeting the banking requirements of Pakistan’s business community while giving entrepreneurs an alternative to conventional branch-based account opening. Mashreq has positioned NEO BIZ as part of its efforts to support businesses through digital banking and contribute to the country’s wider business potential.
