A new chapter of collaboration has begun between FAST-NUCES, Islamabad Campus and Jazz with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic partnership is built around a shared commitment to innovation, inclusion, and bridging the gap between academia and industry. It centers on three enabling functions at Jazz: People & Organization, Ethics & Diversity, and the CRA, with initiatives focused on nurturing a future-ready and inclusive talent pipeline.
The collaboration spans several key areas. In research and development, both institutions will explore themes such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in technology, women in STEM leadership, and inclusive workplace practices. DEI principles will also be woven into curriculum development. Scholarships and awards will support underrepresented students and recognize outstanding female graduates. Additional efforts include digital literacy programs, mental health awareness, and inclusive work culture training.
Students will benefit from the Career Curation Program through internships, skill-building, and industry exposure. The Digital Pakistan Fellowship will empower them to engage in strategic content creation and digital initiatives.
This partnership aligns with the International Girls in ICT Day theme, reinforcing a shared vision for a digitally inclusive future where diversity drives innovation.
