HBL and ZTBL Join Hands for Farmers

HBL Zarai Services and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited Ltd. have signed an MoU to support farmers in Pakistan through better access to financial services and modern farming tools. This partnership will combine HZSL’s ‘HBL Zarai Deras’ and ZTBL’s ‘Zarai Baithaks’ to offer expert advice, financing options, and mechanization support under one roof.

Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited – ZTBL will also refer eligible farmers to HBL Zarai Services Limited – HZSL for further support, making it easier for farmers to access the help they need. Mr. Amer Aziz, CEO of HZSL, said that their buy-back model gives farmers timely payments for crops, helping them prepare for the next season without delay.

Mr. Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti, President of ZTBL, highlighted ZTBL’s recent disbursement of Rs. 37 billion in loans under the PM Kissan Package, including Rs. 12 billion for farm machinery. He also introduced the ‘ZTBL Mobile Van Service’ that takes banking and farming advice to remote areas.

Together, HBL Zarai Services Limited – HZSL and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited – ZTBL aim to modernize agriculture, support small farmers, and expand financial inclusion across Pakistan.
