The second part of the ‘DisruptEd: Ideas that matter’ lecture series took place on June 13-14 in LUMS Lahore and Aga Khan University Karachi respectively. These included a talk on ‘Learning How to Learn’ by Dr. Barbara Oakley. Dr. Oakley is a professor of Engineering at Oakland University. She first spoke at LUMS followed by Aga Khan University, Karachi. In the talk, she explains the scope of digital learning and her expertise as the creator of the world’s largest MOOC.
The series she spoke at aims to serve as a platform for stimulating discourse and disruptive ideas. Especially ideas that connect the different facets of the contemporary ecosystem and create pathways for unlearning and reimagining.
