inDrive has appointed Muhammad Awais Saeed as its new Country Lead for Pakistan, marking a key development in its regional growth strategy. Saeed will manage inDrive’s operations across Pakistan, focusing on local government relations, partnerships, public relations, and inDrive’s inVision initiatives.
With over ten years of experience in startups, Saeed has a strong background in the ride-hailing, e-commerce, and mass transit sectors. Before joining inDrive, he worked as Head of Supply & Operations for Yango, and held leadership roles at Careem and Swvl. His expertise in these fields equips him with a deep understanding of the market.
Egor Smetanin, Senior Vice President of inDrive’s Ride-hailing Department, highlighted Saeed’s role in bridging the company’s central and regional teams. He emphasized Saeed’s leadership in aligning local operations with global standards.
inDrive operates in 779 cities across 46 countries and is the second most downloaded mobility app globally in 2022 and 2023, with over 240 million downloads. Saeed, a graduate of Lahore University of Management Sciences, expressed his commitment to improving the ridehailing experience for users in Pakistan.
