NBP has partnered with Charter for Compassion Pakistan to provide mental health awareness programs and professional support services for employees and their families.
The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has entered into a strategic collaboration with Charter for Compassion Pakistan to expand mental health and well-being resources for its employees and their families.
The partnership, established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), falls under NBP’s Wellness First 2.0 program, which is designed to promote a healthier and more supportive workplace experience. Through the initiative, the bank plans to improve awareness of mental health issues while making professional support services more readily available to its workforce.
As part of the agreement, employees from across the country will be invited to participate in a series of virtual sessions addressing a variety of topics linked to emotional and psychological well-being. These discussions will focus on areas such as managing daily stress, developing resilience, dealing with anxiety, setting constructive boundaries, and adopting habits that support long-term wellness.
The collaboration also introduces access to professional counseling and consultation services for both employees and their dependents. Support will be available through remote and in-person appointments conducted by mental health practitioners associated with Charter for Compassion Pakistan, allowing participants to seek assistance in a confidential setting.
Representatives from both organizations attended the signing ceremony and emphasized the value of creating workplace environments that encourage open conversations around mental well-being. The initiative reflects a mutual commitment to strengthening support systems that help individuals maintain emotional health alongside their professional responsibilities.
NBP stated that employee wellness remains a key area of investment as organizations increasingly recognize the role of mental well-being in workplace engagement and productivity. By combining educational outreach with access to professional guidance, the bank aims to equip employees with resources that can help them navigate personal and workplace challenges more effectively.
The Wellness First 2.0 program is part of NBP’s broader efforts to cultivate a work culture that prioritizes employee welfare and personal development. Through its latest partnership, the bank seeks to enhance the availability of mental health resources and encourage greater awareness of the importance of emotional well-being.
The initiative represents another step in NBP’s ongoing efforts to support a resilient workforce by fostering an environment where employees have access to the tools and assistance needed to thrive both personally and professionally.
