PAFLA and SI Global Solutions have partnered to strengthen Pakistan’s freelancing ecosystem through training, mentorship, and industry collaboration.
Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SI Global Solutions to support the growth of Pakistan’s freelancing ecosystem.
The agreement, signed in Karachi, establishes a framework for collaboration on training workshops, mentorship programs, industry linkages and awareness campaigns aimed at promoting freelancing as a sustainable career path.
PAFLA Chairman Ibrahim Amin highlighted that Pakistan has significant untapped talent, particularly among youth, but requires structured support and capacity-building initiatives to fully realize its potential. He noted that freelancers contributed over $500 million in foreign exchange in the first half of the current fiscal year, with projections expected to surpass $1 billion by year-end.
CEO Dr Noman A Said emphasized the importance of skill development and private sector involvement in empowering youth. He added that the partnership will help aspiring freelancers gain practical experience, develop business strategies and access global digital markets.
Through this collaboration, both organizations aim to equip freelancers with the tools, knowledge and opportunities needed to compete internationally.
