

The federal government has appointed Faisal Jeddy as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). With over two decades of international technology leadership, including senior roles in Silicon Valley and Pakistan, Jeddy is expected to strengthen the country’s IT and IT-enabled services sector.

The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan has confirmed Faisal Jeddy as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). The position had remained vacant since October following the resignation of Abu Bakar.
Jeddy brings more than 20 years of experience in the global technology industry, having worked in Silicon Valley on public offerings, mergers, and acquisitions. He has collaborated with international technology leaders and most recently served as Global Chief Strategy Officer at Systems Limited. He has also been active in the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN), where he worked to connect Pakistan’s tech sector with global opportunities.
Officials noted that Jeddy’s leadership will be crucial in advancing Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled services industry. As CEO, he will oversee ongoing projects and introduce new initiatives aimed at expanding the sector’s international reach.
The appointment comes at a critical juncture as Pakistan seeks to strengthen its digital economy and enhance competitiveness in global technology markets.
