Nayatel has achieved a major milestone by securing the 1st position in Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA)’s Cybersecurity Ranking 2024-25 for fixed-line operators. After maintaining the second spot for two consecutive years, the company’s steady efforts and teamwork have now elevated it to the very top, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted name in Pakistan’s telecom industry.
The ranking is part of a detailed assessment conducted by PTA in collaboration with an independent third party under the Critical Telecom Data and Infrastructure Security Regulations (CTDISR). These evaluations measure how well telecom operators safeguard customer data, defend against cyberattacks, and build resilience against evolving threats. Earning the highest position demonstrates that Nayatel has not only invested in speed and reliability but also in robust systems designed for long-term digital security.
Commenting on the recognition, Aqeel Khurshid, CTO of Nayatel, said: “Being ranked first is more than just an award, it’s a promise. It reflects the trust our customers place in us and our commitment to keeping their data safe, always.” His remarks underscore the company’s focus on both technical excellence and customer trust.
Already compliant with international standards of cybersecurity, Nayatel’s local achievement adds another feather to its cap. Industry experts see this recognition as more than just a company win — it signals progress for Pakistan’s digital ecosystem, proving that true advancement comes when speed is paired with safety.
