Ambassador: China Seeks Stronger Ties with Pakistan

Ambassador Jiang Zaidong shared in a recent discussion that China is eager to strengthen its strategic partnership with Pakistan, ensuring meaningful progress for both nations.

Speaking with Zafar, a former special assistant to the prime minister, along with government officials, political leaders, think tank members, and media representatives, the ambassador emphasized the importance of implementing the key agreements reached between the leaders of China and Pakistan.

Over the past year, both countries have maintained strong diplomatic engagements, with high-level visits playing a crucial role. He highlighted the recent trips of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China, where they met with President Xi Jinping. These meetings not only set a clear direction for future collaboration but also reinforced the commitment to deepening China-Pakistan cooperation across various sectors.
