Digital Sectoral Verticals Workshop | Event

Following the launch of ‘Accelerate to the Digital State’ – a report on the best possible digital policy framework for the Government of Pakistan, Jazz has now introduced three additional reports focusing on key sectors – Agriculture, Health and Education. ‘Accelerate to a Digital State: Sector Series’ deep dives in to the need to prioritize these three sectors on the government’s digital agenda.

For this purpose, Jazz hosted a workshop on ‘Digital Sectoral Verticals’ with the honorable Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in attendance. This workshop was a way to discuss with key stakeholders – in the federal government, provincial bodies, multilateral agencies and the private sector – the challenges and opportunities a Digital Pakistan offers with special focus on key learnings from the ‘Accelerate to a Digital State: Sector Series’. Different working groups also developed insights for technology intervention in the Agriculture, Health, and Education sectors.
