TPL Insurance has officially become JazzSure Insurance after Jazz International Holding got a 76.33% controlling stake, marking a major corporate rebranding.
TPL Insurance Limited has officially adopted the name JazzSure Insurance Limited after Jazz International Holding Limited bought a 76.33% controlling stake in the company. Jazz International Holding runs as a subsidiary of the international digital group VEON Ltd.
The insurer notified the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday that the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) had granted a certificate of incorporation confirming the change. The new corporate identity came into force on October 7, 2026.
This rebranding follows Jazz International Holding’s completion of its majority acquisition of TPL Insurance on July 13, 2026. After the transaction closed, the VEON-affiliated entity held 76.33% of the insurer’s total issued shares.
Shareholders later ratified the name change during an extraordinary general meeting on October 2. Their approval formally authorized the transition from TPL Insurance Limited to JazzSure Insurance Limited.
In its regulatory submission, the company said: “The Company’s name has changed from ‘TPL Insurance Limited’ to ‘JazzSure Insurance Limited’ with effect from 7th October 2026.” The SECP issued the certificate under Section 13 of the Companies Act, 2017, formally recognizing the updated corporate name.
As a condition of the certificate, JazzSure Insurance must display both its old and new names together for 90 days from the date of issuance. This rule applies to its offices as well as designated official documents and public notices.
