
TikTok removed over 22.9 million videos in Pakistan in Q4 2025, with 99.9% taken down proactively and 98.4% removed within 24 hours.
TikTok removed more than 22 million videos in Pakistan between October and December 2025 for violating its community guidelines, according to the platform’s Q4 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report. The report highlights the company’s continued efforts to strengthen content moderation and maintain a safer digital environment for users across the country.
During the quarter, TikTok took down a total of 22,990,460 videos in Pakistan. Of these, 99.9 per cent were removed proactively before being reported by users, reflecting the platform’s increasing reliance on automated detection and moderation systems. Additionally, 98.4 per cent of the flagged content was removed within 24 hours of being posted, indicating a rapid response framework.
Globally, TikTok removed 175,302,085 videos during the same period, accounting for approximately 0.5 per cent of all content uploaded worldwide. The figures underline the scale at which the platform is enforcing its safety and community standards.
The latest report comes amid ongoing discussions around online safety, harmful content, and digital governance in Pakistan, where social media platforms continue to face regulatory scrutiny over content moderation practices and user protection measures.
