Thunder – Energy Intelligence Platform, an AI-powered energy intelligence platform, has signed an MoU with Nokia at MWC Barcelona 2025. This partnership will optimize energy management for telecom infrastructure in the Middle East and Africa.
Thunder Energy’s platform uses AI to monitor, control, and optimize energy use in real time. Telecom operators will gain predictive analytics and automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Nokia will use its industry presence to support deployment, helping operators lower their carbon footprint and enhance network reliability.
The MoU sets a framework for collaboration in energy monitoring and management. Nokia will promote Thunder Energy’s solutions, engaging with telecom operators, tower companies, and regulators. Meanwhile, Thunder Energy will provide technical expertise, training, and resources to ensure smooth integration.
Speaking at the signing, Bilal Qureshi, CEO of Brillanz Group, emphasized the role of AI in reducing telecom energy consumption. Danial M., VP at Nokia, highlighted how this aligns with Nokia’s sustainability strategy.
