Supernet Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Azercosmos, Azerbaijan’s national space agency, marking a key step toward expanding its regional footprint. This collaboration sets the stage for joint business development across Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, allowing both organizations to combine their strengths and deliver innovative solutions to a diverse customer base.
Supernet brings decades of experience in satellite-based communication and ICT services, while Azercosmos offers a growing satellite fleet with coverage across high-demand markets. The two companies have previously worked together to support customer networks in Pakistan and are now extending that partnership to a broader regional level.
The MoU was signed in the presence of senior leadership from both sides, with discussions focused on long-term cooperation and mutual growth. The partnership will emphasize areas such as satellite communications, data services, and emerging space technologies.
This move reflects Supernet’s ambition to scale its operations internationally and contribute to advanced technological development in emerging markets. According to Hassan Jafri, Vice President at Supernet, the partnership represents an important milestone in the company’s journey toward global expansion and technological leadership.
