PayFast has partnered with Askari Bank in a strategic move to strengthen Pakistan’s digital payments landscape by launching a white-label checkout solution powered by Raast. The collaboration was announced at Askari Bank’s Digital Innovation Lab at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. Through this initiative, Askari Bank will leverage PayFast’s infrastructure to provide its own branded payment platform, making online transactions more seamless for both businesses and consumers.

The partnership brings Raast’s instant, interoperable, and account-based payment system directly into the checkout process. This integration enables faster, safer, and more convenient Person-to-Merchant (P2M) payments. In addition, Askari Bank’s new service will include merchant onboarding, internet payment gateways, and e-invoicing  all customized under its own brand while being powered by PayFast’s technology.

Leaders from both sides highlighted that the collaboration extends beyond technology, focusing on driving financial inclusion and digital growth across Pakistan. PayFast emphasized its commitment to offering localized solutions tailored to domestic needs, while Askari Bank’s IT team underlined the expansion of its digital reach into e-commerce, retail, and service sectors. Together, they aim to advance Pakistan’s journey toward a more inclusive, efficient, and cashless economy.
