
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan called for enhanced collaboration between Pakistani manufacturers and Chinese company LiuGong to modernize the agricultural machinery sector in Pakistan. This has a main focus on technology transfer, local manufacturing, and creation of jobs to boost overall industrial and agricultural growth in Pakistan.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan, has emphasized the importance of boosting local production and strengthening technological collaborations in agricultural machinery.
Frank Wang presented on LiuGong’s worldwide operations, including their competency in cranes, loaders, excavators, tractors, and bulldozers. He added that they also provide technical training for support partners in the field of agricultural technology and sugarcane harvesting equipment.
Haroon Akhtar emphasized the need for joint ventures between LiuGong and local manufacturers to enhance production capacity with efficient technology transfer. He said integrating advanced machinery with local manufacturing would improve agricultural productivity, create jobs, and unlock export potential. He further assured full government support for domestic manufacturers adopting modern technology in order to strengthen the industrial and agricultural base of Pakistan.
