Ambassador of Russia Albert P. Khorev met Information Minister Attaullah Tarar to discuss expanding cooperation in media, culture, and tourism while reviewing progress on ongoing bilateral projects.
The meeting included discussions on a proposed partnership between PTV World and Russia’s RT Network to promote joint content and information exchange. Both sides also reviewed the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and Sputnik News Agency to enhance news collaboration.
The two officials agreed to deepen engagement in cultural and digital media initiatives and to explore exchange programs involving young journalists and digital creators. Minister Tarar said Pakistan and Russia share a bond of trust and aim to build stronger cooperation across multiple sectors.
Ambassador Khorev appreciated Pakistan’s northern areas for their tourism potential and expressed confidence that both countries will continue building a practical partnership based on shared goals.
