                      Ministry of IT Explores IBM Partnership for Digital Pakistan

                      The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan has held a high-level meeting with IBM Pakistan to advance the government’s Digital Pakistan vision. The delegation was led by Federal Minister Shaza Khawaja and Federal Secretary Zarrar Khan, while IBM was represented by Adnan Anjum, Country General Manager for IBM Pakistan.

                      The discussion centered on strengthening Pakistan’s digital infrastructure, modernizing public services, and accelerating digital transformation in key government sectors. Both parties highlighted the importance of skills development and education, noting that training in emerging technologies will be essential for preparing the workforce of the future.

                      Minister Shaza Khawaja emphasized that the government is committed to building strategic partnerships with global technology leaders to drive innovation and ensure that Pakistan’s digital growth benefits citizens across all segments of society. IBM representatives acknowledged the potential of collaboration and expressed their readiness to work closely with the Ministry on solutions tailored for Pakistan’s needs.

                      The Ministry reaffirmed that advancing citizen services, public sector efficiency, and national infrastructure modernization remain central priorities. This meeting marks another important step in aligning Pakistan’s digital journey with international best practices and unlocking opportunities for inclusive national development.
