
Jazz led all operators in video experience across 12 of the 20 cities assessed in the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) Mobile Network Experience Benchmarking Report for the second quarter of 2026, while ranking among the top two operators nationally across all four measured indicators.
Jazz recorded the highest video experience score in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Abbottabad, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Gwadar, Chakwal, Swabi and Khairpur. In Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Swabi, it led across all three performance metrics — download speed, upload speed and video experience.
Nationally, Jazz recorded a 4G video experience score of 41.51, just 0.15 points from the highest score of 41.66 and above the national 4G average of 37.53. The results placed Jazz among the top two operators nationally in video experience, download speed, upload speed and time on network.
Jazz recorded national download and upload speeds of 17.61 Mbps and 6.26 Mbps, respectively, compared with Ufone at 12.82 Mbps and 4.42 Mbps and Telenor at 7.5 Mbps and 2.82 Mbps. Its upload speed was also above the national 4G average of 5.32 Mbps. Jazz’s time on network stood at 93.33 percent, ahead of Telenor at 92.58 percent and Ufone at 92.16 percent.
The report, published by PTA in collaboration with Opensignal, measures the experience of real smartphone users over a 90-day period, covering indicators including video streaming, download and upload speeds, and time on network.
Jazz also delivered strong results across individual cities. In Islamabad, it recorded 20.86 Mbps download and 6.96 Mbps upload speeds, alongside a video experience score of 50.22. In Peshawar, Jazz recorded 17.79 Mbps download, 6.98 Mbps upload and a video score of 47.51.
In Quetta, Jazz recorded the fastest download speed among all operators at 22.41 Mbps, compared with Zong at 16.69 Mbps. It also posted the fastest download speeds in Faisalabad at 19.78 Mbps, Sukkur at 19.26 Mbps and Hyderabad at 18.54 Mbps. In Karachi, Jazz led on video experience with a score of 47.18, while its 17.8 Mbps download speed was within 0.5 Mbps of the highest recorded speed.
