According to the official twitter handle of Institute of Space Technology – Team of Pakistani students secured the top position in Drone competition. The development shows great potential of Pakistani students to shine on a global stage.
The Twitter handle further stated:
Institute of Space Technology, being the pioneer institute of Pakistan in Aerospace Science and Engineering, participated in the competition held at Bursa this year where more than 240 teams participated from more than 85 countries.
The team of students won first position in silver category of International Free Mission UAV Competition of TEKNOFEST, and also secured fourth position in the overall competition. The team was also awarded with a cash prize of 36,000 Turkish Lira.
The competition was organized by the Republic of Turkeys’ Ministry of Industry and Technology and is one of the world’s largest aerospace events which normally includes tech competitions, air shows, and interviews of all sorts.
