The government has announced that the upcoming federal budget will focus on growth, exports, and stakeholder consultation to support economic development.
The government has declared that the next federal budget will prioritise inclusive and collaborative policymaking and be pro-growth and export-oriented.
The government is interacting with business executives, exporters, and industry representatives to include their input into the budget, according to Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani during an interactive session at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
He pointed out that in order to guarantee a “whole-of-economy” approach to policy creation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb are leading these meetings.
The minister emphasised the significance of business community involvement in determining economic goals while highlighting Karachi’s position as the “heart of Pakistan’s economic activity.”
Officials claim that the budget is being created to encourage export development and economic progress while taking into account input from stakeholders in many sectors.
The federal budget is anticipated to be unveiled in June, and continuing discussions are being held to ensure that policy initiatives are in line with the demands of business and industry.
