Future Fest 2025 lit up Lahore’s Expo Centre from January 24-26, throwing the spotlight on Pakistan’s top tech talent with the National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies (NICAT) Innovation Awards, honoring individuals reshaping industries with fresh ideas.
From a pool of 450 contenders, a panel of industry leaders, including Relymer Group’s CEO Umar Muhammad and Ejad Labs’ COO Mehroz Azam, picked the best. The winners include rankistan ‘s Waleed Najam, Datics AI‘s Rana Umar Majeed, SharkLabs global ‘s Vikram Kumar, and TechLeadz ‘s Yasir Shaukat, for delivering real impact.
Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, Akhuwat ’s founder was present as well while Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Science and Technology pointed out Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA)‘s potential to drive innovation. NICAT reaffirmed its commitment to equipping startups with mentorship, resources, and industry connections.
With AI, SaaS, E-commerce, Blockchain, Health, and Finance in focus, the Future Fest-NICAT partnership allowed Pakistan to exhibit itself in the global tech arena.
