Farmdar has entered a strategic partnership with MSF Sugar , one of Australia’s largest integrated sugarcane companies, to roll out advanced CropScan technology across MSF’s operations in Queensland. This collaboration will bring area-wide and field-level crop insights using satellite data, AI-driven yield prediction, sugarcane detection, and on-demand harvest monitoring.
MSF Sugar oversees more than 40,000 hectares of contracted farmland and operates three sugar mills with a combined annual crushing capacity of 4 million tonnes. Since 2012, the company has been part of the Mitr Phol Group—one of the world’s largest sugar producers with a strong footprint across Asia-Pacific.
According to Farmdar Co-founder Muzaffar Manghi, this partnership is the first step toward building localized AI models that are both accurate and scalable. The results achieved with MSF Sugar are expected to pave the way for broader implementation across Mitr Phol’s global network.
MSF Sugar’s long-standing focus on innovation, R&D, and sustainability aligns well with Farmdar’s vision of becoming the most trusted platform for crop intelligence.
For Farmdar, the sugar sector remains a key global priority, and this partnership represents a significant move toward enabling smarter, data-driven, and more sustainable farming at scale.
