Data Vault Pakistan and the Centre of Excellence Artificial Intelligence Technology Center at the National Centre for Physics have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen Pakistan’s sovereign artificial intelligence and high performance computing capabilities.
The memorandum of understanding was signed in Islamabad between Data Vault Pakistan and the National Centre for Physics. The partnership establishes a structured collaboration framework to support indigenous AI development, GPU accelerated computing, and cloud and edge AI services hosted within Pakistan.
The agreement will remain in effect for an initial period of five years, with provisions for extension through mutual consent. Officials said the framework is designed to create a sustainable model linking national research institutions with locally managed, enterprise grade AI infrastructure. The collaboration aims to ensure that advanced research projects and sensitive computing workloads are processed within sovereign systems.
Data Vault Pakistan Chief Executive Officer Mehwish Salman Ali said the partnership is “an important milestone in strengthening national AI capacity within Pakistan.” Officials added that the initiative aligns with broader national goals of technological self reliance, digital sovereignty and innovation driven growth.
The collaboration is expected to support Pakistan’s ambition to expand its presence in artificial intelligence, scientific computing and advanced digital research at a regional level.
