The aik by BankIslami delegation, led by Chief Officer Ashfaque Ahmed, engaged the KPK governor to discuss strategies for leveraging modern digital Islamic banking solutions that lower barriers for the underserved to enter the formal financial system. Emphasis was placed on aligning aik’s innovation with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)’s financial inclusion priorities, including mobile-first services and broader access to Riba-free financial products.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi praised the initiative and signaled support for future cooperation that could enhance local economic participation and bolster digital banking adoption in the province.
