AJK Bank Signs Global Deal to Go Fully Digital

The Bank of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is officially stepping into the future. BAJK has signed a major tech partnership with the iConsult Consortium, a team of four leading companies including Silverlake from Malaysia, iConsult (Pakistan), Megaplus Pakistan (Islamabad), and iTANZ Pakistan (Karachi).

This collaboration will introduce advanced Core Banking and Digital Channels Software to the bank. What does that mean for customers? Faster service, smoother experiences, and a banking system ready for the modern era.

The signing ceremony in Islamabad brought together top leadership including AJK Prime Minister Anwarul Haq, Finance Minister Abdul Majid Khan, Speaker Latif Akbar, and BAJK CEO Shahid Mir. According to Mr Mir, this move will make BAJK stronger, smarter, and better equipped to serve its people.

With 88 branches already operating and more on the way, BAJK is not just upgrading its tech, it is redefining what banking looks like across the region.
