Air Link Communication Limited has revealed a new industrial partnership through its subsidiary, Select Technologies Limited, with international electronics manufacturer Hisense Group. The announcement was made in a regulatory disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange – PSX.
The arrangement will introduce local manufacturing of household appliances in Pakistan, starting with Smart televisions and air conditioners. Distribution will be handled through Air Link Group’s existing nationwide sales channels, while Hisense will provide product design, technology standards and operational guidance.
Beyond production, Hisense has conveyed plans to inject capital directly into the venture at a later stage, reflecting a longer-term strategy for establishing a footprint in Pakistan. The company recently reported global revenues exceeding $30 billion, highlighting the scale of its international operations.
Industry analysts say the collaboration could reduce dependence on imported appliances, support domestic assembly capacity and improve product availability. By combining global manufacturing expertise with local market reach, the partnership is expected to enhance competition in Pakistan’s consumer electronics sector and broaden choices for customers.
