JazzCash has earned the Silver Award in the Banking, InsurTech category at Money20/20 USA 2026 for its healthcare financing initiative, Sehat+. The recognition marks the second straight year the Pakistani fintech platform has been honored on this international stage.
Pakistani financial technology provider JazzCash, a subsidiary of telecom group VEON Ltd., has secured the Silver Award within the Banking, InsurTech sector at Money20/20 USA 2026.
The international accolade honors Sehat+, a specialized product created to deliver affordable medical coverage to previously uninsured groups. The platform specifically serves independent contractors, daily wage earners, small enterprise owners, and first-time policyholders.
By integrating coverage directly into routine mobile wallet usage, the service helps low-income households handle sudden medical expenditures without relying on formal banking infrastructure.
The win represents a consecutive milestone for the company, following its 2025 Silver Award at the same forum for the ReadyCash micro-lending facility.
Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of JazzWorld and Chairman of JazzCash, Mobilink Bank, and JazzSure Insurance, noted that traditional coverage options historically catered only to individuals with fixed incomes or established savings.
He highlighted that embedding financial protection into everyday micro-transactions offers a scalable blueprint for safeguarding underserved communities against unexpected monetary hardship.
Fintech analysts note that coupling insurance offerings with widespread mobile transaction networks serves as a critical driver for broader economic inclusion in developing countries.
The award-winning solution operates alongside JazzWorld’s broader financial ecosystem, which includes lending through Mobilink Bank as well as insurance solutions via JazzSure and FikrFree.
The achievement underscores how emerging market innovations are increasingly setting global standards for inclusive financial technology.
