ADB Approves $10–12bn Pakistan Lending Strategy

ISLAMABAD – March 18, 2026: Building on the strong response to its earlier GCC support initiative, JazzWorld, Pakistan’s leading integrated digital ServiceCo, is once again supporting Pakistanis in the Middle East this Eid by offering 2GB of free data to customers currently registered on international roaming networks across GCC countries.
As many continue to navigate ongoing disruptions in the region, the initiative aims to help customers stay connected with their families during Eid—a time when being in touch with loved ones matters the most.
The free data will be available from March 19 to March 31, 2026, enabling customers to share moments, check in with family, and remain connected throughout the festive period. The benefit will be provisioned automatically, requiring no action from customers, with SMS notifications confirming activation.
“Eid is a time of togetherness, and we recognize that many Pakistanis in the region are spending it away from their families, particularly in light of the current situation,” said Kazim Mujtaba, President Jazz GSM. “Through this gesture, we hope to make it easier for them to stay connected with their loved ones and share in the spirit of the occasion, no matter where they are.”
This initiative builds on JazzWorld’s earlier support measures introduced at the onset of the regional disruptions, where free data was provided to customers across GCC countries to help them remain connected during a period of uncertainty. The initiative saw strong engagement, with tens of thousands of customers benefiting from the offer and a significant increase in overall data usage—underscoring the importance of connectivity in moments that matter most.
