Pakistani entrepreneur Suha Suleman Lalani, co-founder of PinkDetect, has been named to the Inc. Female Founders 500, highlighting her growing impact in global health technology. At just 25, the Karachi-born founder joins a prestigious group of international entrepreneurs including Serena Williams, Emma Grede, and Michelle Zatlyn.
PinkDetect is a health-tech platform designed to improve early breast cancer detection through AI-powered tools, educational resources and guidance that help women identify symptoms and locate nearby clinics. The platform aims to address delayed diagnosis in countries like Pakistan by offering accessible and culturally sensitive solutions for underserved communities.
Lalani began developing the concept while studying biomedical sciences at Toronto Metropolitan University, after researching cancer biology and witnessing the challenges surrounding late-stage breast cancer detection. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Harvard University and previously worked as a Generative AI Specialist at Microsoft in the healthcare and life sciences sector.
PinkDetect’s co-founder and CEO Solmaz Ebrahmi Iranpour said the recognition reflects the team’s mission to build technology grounded in evidence, equity and real community needs, enabling women to take control of their breast health through accessible digital tools.
